Snow and ice covered sidewalks are safety hazards. The question is, “Whose job is it to shovel them?” That depends on whether you own or rent. If you own A Home: Yep, it’s you. A homeowner can be held responsible if someone is injured on the sidewalk that is on his/her property.

Many of our clients go to Florida or Arizona for the Winter. While, I think that’s a great idea, there are things you need to think about before you go. Lock all the doors and windows. Have security bolts on any sliding glass doors. Light up your property.

It’s that time of year. The kids are heading off to college and you may need to make some changes to your insurance to make sure you and they are protected. Kids used to take themselves and some clothes with them.
